Clearing Browser Cache

ProtonMail is very much a work in progress, as a result, we will be frequently releasing new versions with bugfixes and additional features. Whenever a new version is released, it is usually good practice to clear your browser cache before continuing to use ProtonMail.

A good website we recommend for instructions on how to do this can be found here:

  • Two for now.

    There does not seem to be a way to select multiple recipient addresses other than cut and paste.

    Clicking “edit” in the contacts list does not seem to do anything. I have not been able to make corrections in my recipient addresses.

  • I am interested in ProtonMail and am willing to pay for its service.

    If its not too late, I’ll happily donate $147.00 for the service, and as I value my privacy, I am willing to support your efforts to keep ProtonMail a valid service in the US. I believe we are in a crisis with business concerns running the country, and wearing away our basic rights because business considers its rights overwhelming more important than the that of the common man. We need to tilt the balance back the other way and restore our privacy.

    I don’t EVER want to be called by a bank, insurance company, jackpot prize or not, I know where this is coming from and the motivations behind it. It is MY right to keep my life secure.
    I’m behind protonmail and I wish to join as promptly as I can.

  • I am really thankful to protonmail team for enabling us with a fully privacy based, encrypted email app. I am going to invite my friends and other people to use this new service both free and highly secure.

    Hi,

    I’ve recently received my invitation and set up my account but any emails that I send to Hotmail or Gmail address’s have been bounced straight back to me. Am I doing something wrong when I send ordinary emails to non protonmail address’s. Thanks if you can help as I wish very much to use this facility.

    • Hello Nick,

      Thank you for the comment. Can you try carefully inputting the support@protonmail.ch? I noticed you tried to send to “support@protonmail.ch.” – with the period at the end. This might be what is causing the error.

  • I unfortunately am rather limited too using Email services in respect that I do not send a vast amount to other persons so I am asking a question that could be thought of as irrelevant, but it still needs some attention from myself as to how I manage the problem, can you please say ‘how I save Emails?’
