ProtonMail customer support phone number

If you would like to reach ProtonMail’s customer support team by phone, this article explains how. Do not trust customer support numbers you find elsewhere because they are mostly scams and phishing attempts.

How to reach ProtonMail customer support by phone

ProtonMail offers phone support for ProtonMail Professional users during Swiss business hours (Monday through Friday, 10AM-6PM, public holidays excluded). To get our customer support number or to request a call back, you must first submit a support request using this form: https://protonmail.com/support-form.

Note that email support is available 24/7. All you need to do is submit a support request here or use the Report Bug feature within our apps.

IMPORTANT: Do not use any other ProtonMail customer support phone number that you find online. Unless you obtained the number directly from our support team, other phone numbers are fake and could lead to your credentials being stolen.

Fake customer support phone numbers are a fairly common scam tactic on the Internet. There are dozens of ProtonMail support scam pages online. They all advertise “ProtonMail support number” or “ProtonMail technical support,” targeting keywords likely to be searched in Google.

If you call any of those phone numbers, the person on the other end of the line will ask you for sensitive personal information and/or the credentials to your ProtonMail account, with the goal of gaining access to your account. Do not call any support phone number unless it was directly emailed to you by our support team.

A related scam is when hackers email ProtonMail users claiming to be ProtonMail. All official emails from ProtonMail are starred by default. If you receive an email claiming to be from ProtonMail that is not starred, then it is a phishing scam. Do not click on the links or download the attachments of any suspicious emails. Mark them as spam or mark them as phishing, and future emails from that sender will be automatically filtered to your spam folder. When in doubt, please forward the email to our security team at security@protonmail.ch.

    Hello!

    I have been using your services for a few months now, and I am quite satisfied, thank you!
    However, there are two or three main things that I believe could be bettered, for best use and comfort:

    – even though we log in in French, as soon as we go outside of the main pages, like if we want to go to the support page for example, it’s all in English!… To me, it doesn’t matter so much because I am lucky to be perfectly bilingual… However: I want to talk about you guys to many of my friends, but most of them don’t talk a word of English, and this could be a MAJOR drawback!… Could you please work on making all the pages available also in French, in the future?…

    – I feel that the classic theme is terribly DULL, cold and sad… I’d love to add some COLOR to it, some cheerful notes, but on your settings page, you only have ONE theme available (the ‘classic’ one!)… You talk about the possiblity of importing new profiles but concretely, how does it work??

    – I would like to import all of my contacts from Yahoo and Outlook accounts. I am lost when it comes to that as well…

    Bonjour,
    Peut simple d’utilisation a cause de l’anglais et les alias ne sont pas vraiment explicite vraiment pas simple d’utilisation.
    J’ai fermer mon compte et en fin de compte je craint fort d’avoir perdu mes 48€ vue le silence assourdissant de proton.
    Pas très clair tous sa.

    I have a user whose ability to access our protonmail is not consistent. A few times she has received the error message shown below while working on her company owned Surface while out of the office. We use Pointman to access our network files. Her opinion is that it works some of the time but not all of the time. Have you had other users have this problem?

    L have been using Proton mail for some time and I had Canada1 2 3 4 5 and 6 now I’ve only have Canada 1. through Iceland or Switzerland and a some times it puts me in other countries instead of Canada. I would appreciate it if you told me how to fix it..
    I need to know how to correct.ir
