How to see participant availability in Proton Calendar

Proton Calendar allows subscribers to see the availability of meeting participants. This feature is currently available on Proton Mail web and desktop apps for users with Proton Family, Proton Visionary, Proton Mail Essentials, and Proton Business plans.

To get started, log in to your Proton Mail account on the web or desktop app. 

How it works 

When you create a new event and add participants to it in your Proton Calendar, the availability of participants who choose to share their availability will automatically be displayed in your calendar view, allowing you to schedule an appropriate time.

How to hide your availability 

If you decide not to show your busy slots, click … next to My Calendar. Next, click Edit. 

Under “Access to my events”, you can now uncheck the option to share your busy status.

As part of this first release, you will only be able to see availability of other Proton Mail users within your organization.
